Dan, I'm worried about you... Okay, can someone explain to me why an animal liberationist can get up to 10 years yail for "sabotaging the live sheep trade", but a paedophile can get just a few years for the crimes he/she commits to innocent children? It's times like these that I think the whole law system is screwed. I mean, let's look at it more closely...What is an animal liberationist's main aim? To stop animals being harmed. Now they might not always do this legally, and they may be considered to be pests by some members of the community, but they're not causing any physical harm to anyone. In fact they are trying to prevent it. Compared with a paedophine, whose main aim is to have sex with children, I think I know which person I would rather see rotting in prison (personally, one thing I always agreed with Pauline Hanson about was that all paedophiles should be castrated. I'll leave God to forgive them because I can not see how any human being in their right mind would do so). If someone studying law could explain this to me, it would be much appreciated. In other news... I forgot to say that a woman congratulated Stacey and me at work the other night for working so well together. She said she'd never seen people be able to work well and chat to each other at the same time. That was nice. Personally, I hate it when you are in a shop and people are off talking when you need help. But if they are talking but still working well, it really shouldn't matter. I mean, some workmates scream at each other, so I think we're doing fine. I'm probably going out Sunday night to the max, might see you there? Stacey invited me out to see some acoustic guy play there. So I'll have to just wait and see what happens and then tell you about it if it was eventful. Not long till BDO now. Get your tickets, everyone, so we can shoot metallica during their set. Wooo. |
