"As the seventh month dies..."

Hmmm.Actaully it's the 6th month right now, but you know what I mean, if you know what I mean *winks*.

I'm finally getting to the story of last Friday, with some pictures to go along with it. It all started with the end of folio week, and for once I actually got my work done. I went out for lunch afterwards with Nat, Katie and Allie of course. Daniel didn't come because they don't sevre lattes there :P Snob. We had AYCE chinese again, and struffed ourselves. There are some pics at the end. Afterwards we went back to school and mucked around on the computers. Nat showed me farts.com. It was really informative and at one point we listened to a twelve second fart. We went back into town and I bought a new bag, it's a gas mask bag, and it was only ten bucks! I have some pictures coming soon, too

I went home and had a shower, and then headed back into Geelong for tea. I had sushi with Lisa, Lesh and Sybil/Sibyl (sorry Sib can't remember which way it goes!) We all drank peach water, which has to be my new favourite drink! Its sooo so yummy. I had good ol' crab and cucumber rolls, Sib and Lesh had teriyaki chicken with some yummy miso and lisa had some vegitarian sushi.
Afterwards we went to Anti to see FAO. I had heaps of fun there, way more than last time (I think I was way more relaxed) and I met a bunch of Lisa's friends (Including Nathan...who sucks)! FAO were pretty good, but there were a bunch of swooning girls up the front that made it all feel a bit too much like a blink 182 concert. I think I was one of the few people who knew the words to the songs from their old ep (I have their new one but I've only listened to it once so far. no time!). Lesh seemed to have fun, and if I didn't work Saturday mornings, I could see myself becoming a local. It's fun to get drunk and jump around to some punk rock and alt music (even if some of it is shit.) Nulltext were alriight, but I didn't really get into them. They were a bit too jockish. The guitarist was really really good, though. The highlight of my night would have been bitching about the supre skanks in the toilets.

The next morning my mum brought home OoTP and i read about a chapter and a half before work. Those six hours were hell. I was looking at the clock every ten minutes, plus I was feeling seedy from the night before. I got home and read it, went to sleep, and started reading again the next morning. I've gotta say, althought a lot of the fandom are upset, I enjoyed the book. I think that "the death" is so hard to handle, because it's like losing someone you know in real life. People are going though the same stages of grief right now as you would see in people whgo had just lost a loved one, there's anger, depressional, denial, and a lot of blame. Once people get over the death, I hope they can realise that there was some very realistic writing involved. I'm waiting to see just what will happen to the fandom now. If you're interesed, the best discussions about the book are going on at Diagon Alley(in my opinion, anyway).

I think it would be really cool if someone made an emogame type game with all the gang in the last part of the book. I'd like to see Nev kick some DE arse, pixel style!

The new DC album comes out in the US on the 12th. I don't know when it comes out here. I might write to FMR (seeing they seem to be printing DC stuff out here now) and see what they have to say about it. I wish that DC would come out here! I would love it! I'd die. I'll put up a pic of the cover and the track listning asap.

Speaking of DC, Chris has moved in with his Cousin Dudley and he's not gay anymore, he likes this chick named Betty. I want him to become friends with Bingo, though. I like bingo's mohawk. Oh, I'm talking about the Sims, BTW. It was so funny when he first starte dplaying guitar because everyone booed, but now they love him!
